MAKE THEIR EID BETTER
In Sittwe, which is the capital of Rakhine State, Myanmar there are more than 1 million Rohingya Muslims. They have been confined within their own villages and IDP camps since the violence and repressive actions that occurred in 2012.
More than 100,000+ Rohingya Muslims in Sittwe have lost their homes, property and everything they owned and have been forcefully transferred to the IDP camps by the Myanmar Government.
Rohingya Muslims are the most persecuted ethnic and discriminated against in Myanmar. They do not have the right to have citizenship, freedom, and other basic human rights.
This Eid al-Adha, with your help we aim to put a smile on the face of our poor and needy Muslims brothers and sisters. They should also get the chance to forget their sorrows and make the most out of Eid. Our platform partners, Kitabisa together with ACT will be arranging Udhiya or Qurbani of cows this Eid ul Adha. The distribution area of qurban meat includes Sittwe and villages in North Arakan.
Allah tells us in the Quran in Surah Insan:
And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive,[Saying], "We feed you only for the countenance of Allah . We wish not from you reward or gratitude.Indeed, We fear from our Lord a Day austere and distressful."So Allah will protect them from the evil of that Day and give them radiance and happiness
