Siti Khadijah Binti Mohammed Alam

Growing up as a refugees with an uncertain future is a nightmare to everyone and I seem to be living in one. My parents made me realize that we are not going to remain refugees forever.

We have try our best and make the changes for our future generation. I realized that without education I cannot go far, let alone become a lawyer that I had always dreamt of becoming. I don’t want to be just a normal lawyer, I want to be successful lawyer.

To grasp my dream, I have to study hard and of course that is not easy with having a family financial distress. Nevertheless, my parents’ moral supports and encouragements are good enough to make me see myself in the next 15 years or so, back to Myanmar, along with my people, freely express ourselves without fear or favors. Yes, to speak up and work for our freedom. But that can only happen if I make my move now.

Her Story

Khadijah is currently enrolled and attending Form One in Sekolah Menengah Agama Al-Irsyad, Balok situated in Kuantan which is a non-boarding school. She is 15 years old and was born in Malaysia. Khadijah performed exceptionally well in her SPSR (Primary 6 Examination) with  2A’s and 4B’s. Khadijah’s father is the sole breadwinner as a labourer while her mother is a housewife. Khadijah wants to study as much as she can and become a top level lawyer and help bring justice to her people.  Her family’s financial condition is really bad as her father has to take care of 4 other children as well.

Fund Usage

Funds will be used to cover the fees for her Secondary Education at Sek Men Agama al-Irsyad, Kuantan. The funds will also provide her basic amenities. Your donations to this campaign today might see Khadijah fighting crime and providing justice to the oppressed as a lawyer in just a few years time. What a worthy investment that is!

He is a Rohingya refugee who wants to be a policeman and protect other refugees.
